Your go-to wedding and portrait photographer. With a camera in hand and a heart full of passion, I specialize in capturing the vibrant, true-to-color moments that make life extraordinary.
When I'm not behind the lens, you can find me sipping on a good cup of coffee, exploring new places with my family, and seeking inspiration in every corner of the world. Join me on this incredible photography journey, and let's turn your cherished memories into visual stories that'll warm your heart for years to come.
There are some venues that just make my job easy. Walk in, set up, and every angle is already working in your favor. The Watson Building in downtown Lubbock is one of those places.
I’ve had the privilege of photographing weddings and events there over the years, and it never gets old. Every time I walk through those doors, I find something new to love about the space.
Built in 1927, The Watson Building has the kind of character you simply cannot replicate. The exposed brick, the original architectural details, the warm tones that fill the space. It all creates a backdrop that feels timeless without trying too hard. I’ve shot in venues that look beautiful to the eye but fall flat on camera. That is never the case here. The textures photograph beautifully, the lighting is forgiving, and there’s a depth to the space that gives every gallery a rich, editorial quality.
One thing I especially appreciate is the natural light. During golden hour, the way the light pours into the building is something I genuinely look forward to on every Watson Building wedding day. It creates this soft, warm glow that flatters every skin tone and makes couples look like they belong on a magazine cover.

I love that The Watson Building feels rooted in this city. It’s not a cookie cutter ballroom or a generic event space. It has soul. When couples choose this venue, they’re choosing something with real history and real connection to downtown Lubbock. That sense of place always comes through in the photos. You look at a Watson Building gallery and you know it’s Lubbock. You feel the West Texas warmth, the character, and the pride that comes with celebrating in a space that has been part of this community for nearly a century.

Beyond the aesthetics, the team at The Watson Building genuinely cares about making every event seamless. As a vendor who has worked dozens of weddings and events, I can tell you that a great venue team makes all the difference. When the coordination is smooth and the space is well prepared, I get to focus entirely on what I do best: capturing your story.
The layout is also incredibly versatile. I’ve photographed intimate ceremonies with just close family and large celebrations that filled the entire space. Every configuration photographs well, which is not something I can say about every venue.

If you’re planning a wedding or event in Lubbock and debating venues, I can’t recommend The Watson Building enough. As someone who has seen it through a camera lens more times than I can count, I can promise you this: your photos will be stunning, your guests will be wowed, and the space will make your day feel as special as it deserves to be.
